The **Avox Avatar** is the character you see reacting throughout your Avox dashboard - in page
headers, during onboarding, in the account menu, and on the Avox websites. It's generated for you,
takes its shape from the persona you pick when you join, and changes expression based on what's
happening on screen. It's the face of [Avox AI](https://docs.theavoxai.com/avox-ai).

## Its shape comes from your persona

The avatar's shape is set by the persona you pick during onboarding:

Its look is also seeded from your name, so the same person always gets the same-looking avatar.
Switchboards without a logo get their own avatar too, seeded from the Switchboard's name.

## Where you'll see it

- **Page headers** - most dashboard pages show the avatar next to the page title. Hover buttons
  and fields on the page and it explains them in a speech bubble, then reacts to what you do: happy
  when something succeeds, unsure when a field needs fixing, sad when something fails. On
  [Overview](https://docs.theavoxai.com/overview) it comments on the card or chart you point at.
- **Inbox, Contacts, and Calls** - a small avatar sits beside the page and confirms what you just
  did, such as "Sent." after a reply or "Renamed." after renaming a contact, or tells you why
  something didn't work.
- **Setup wizards** - connecting a number, creating a template, a Flow, or an automation. It reacts
  to each step, from thinking while a check runs to delighted when your number connects.
- **Onboarding chat** - its expression changes with every answer you give.
- **Health, Logs, and Analytics** - the **Insights** panel's avatar matches the most urgent insight
  on the page: sad for a critical one, unsure for a warning, smug when all is well.
- **Automation** - the first-visit introduction and every automation page. See

- **The account menu** - your own avatar in the top bar, shaped by your persona.
- **The sidebar card** - the small rotating card at the bottom of the sidebar, for example pointing
  you to [Support](https://docs.theavoxai.com/support) or these docs.
- **The cookie banner** on Avox websites - hover or click it for a new one-liner and expression.

The avatar isn't a chat assistant you talk to. It's a friendly face on real dashboard state,
showing at a glance whether things are going well.
