# Broadcasts Library and Ready-Made Broadcasts

> The Broadcasts library: thirteen ready-made broadcasts written by Avox, from a new offer to asking for a review, each with its template, a suggested list, tips and a phone preview.

Source: https://docs.theavoxai.com/broadcasts/library

You don't have to start a [broadcast](https://docs.theavoxai.com/broadcasts) from a blank page. Avox has written ready-made
broadcasts for the messages businesses send most: a sale, a restock, an invitation, a review request.
Each one comes with:

- **its template** from the Avox template library, written to be approved as a Marketing template;
- **a suggested list**: who it's best sent to, filled in for you;
- **tips** for getting the most out of it.

Pick one and the broadcast wizard opens with everything filled in. Change anything you like before you
send.

## Where to find them

- On the **Broadcasts** page, **Start from a ready-made broadcast** shows four, the ones whose template
  you already have first. **See all** opens the library.
- The **Broadcasts library** (**Broadcasts > See all**) has every ready-made broadcast, with search, a
  filter and a preview.

## The Broadcasts library

**1. Find one**

**Search ready-made broadcasts** looks through names, descriptions, lists and tips. The filter shows
**All**, **Template ready** or **Needs its template**, each with how many there are.

**2. Preview it**

Click one to see its message on a phone, with sample values and your business name, as WhatsApp will
show it. Under it: **Who it's for** and the tips. A picture, video or document header shows as "(Your
image shows here)".

**3. Use it**

With **Template ready**, click **Use this** to open the wizard filled in. With **Needs its
template**, click **Add its template** first (see below).

### Template ready or needs its template

A broadcast can only send a template Meta has approved. Each ready-made broadcast checks whether your
Switchboard has an approved copy of its template:

- **Template ready**: you have it. **Use this** uses your approved copy ("It uses your approved copy of
  the ... template. Everything stays editable in the wizard.").
- **Needs its template**: you don't have it yet. **Add its template** opens the
  [template library](https://docs.theavoxai.com/templates/library) with that template picked. Meta reviews it, usually within a
  day, then the broadcast is ready to use. Come back to the library and it says **Template ready**.

### Tips for each

**New offer**

- Add a clear picture of the offer as the header.
- Say exactly what's on offer and until when.
- Send it when your customers usually message you.

**Back in stock**

- Send it only to people who asked about this product: they are the most likely to buy.
- The button's link ending is the product's page on your site.

**Price drop**

- Show both the old and the new price.
- Keep the list to people who were interested: a price drop nobody asked about reads as spam.

**Event invite**

- Pick a conversion tag like "Coming to the event" to count who said yes.
- Send it a week or two before the event.

**We miss you**

- Start small: people who haven't heard from you in a long time block more often.
- Mention something new so there's a reason to come back.

**Appointment slots open**

- Send it when the slots open, not days later.
- Pair it with an automation that answers "Book me in" with your booking link.

**Seasonal greeting**

- Keep it warm and short: no offer needed.
- Send it on the day, in the morning.

**Feedback request**

- The report shows which rating button each person tapped.
- Follow up personally with anyone who rates you low.

**Ask for a review**

- Send it a few days after people received what they bought, while it's fresh.
- Name what they bought in general words (for example "your new coffee machine") so it reads right for
  everyone.
- Point the button at the review page you care about most, like Google or your own site.

**Event reminder**

- Send it two or three days before the event, not on the day.
- Pick a conversion tag like "interested" and add the **Answer broadcast button taps** automation to
  count who saves a place.

**What's new**

- One clear piece of news works better than a long list.
- Start with a small group: people who haven't heard from you in a while block more often.

**Order on WhatsApp**

- Make a [smart link](https://docs.theavoxai.com/chat-links) with a QR code for your counter so people who walk in can order the
  same way.
- Put your real menu or shop page in the button before you send.

**We're open again**

- Send it the day before you open, so people can plan a visit.
- Keep someone free to answer: "Book me in" taps come in quickly.

## What "Use this" fills in

**Use this** opens the [broadcast wizard](https://docs.theavoxai.com/broadcasts#create-a-broadcast) with:

- the **Name**, ready to change;
- the **Template**: your approved copy of the ready-made broadcast's template;
- the **Variables**, for example each contact's first name, with "there" when a contact has none, and
  empty boxes for what only you know (like what's on offer);
- the suggested list on the **Audience** step, as a starting point.

Nothing is sent until you go through the [check](https://docs.theavoxai.com/broadcasts/before-you-send), tick the permission
sentence and press **Send now** or **Schedule**. Check the suggested list against your own contacts and
tags: it's a starting point, not a rule.

> **Note**
>
> Like every broadcast, a ready-made one always skips contacts with the **Unsubscribed** tag. See
> [Stop and unsubscribe](https://docs.theavoxai.com/contacts/unsubscribe).

## When Use this is greyed out

Hover it to see why. It's greyed out when:

- you don't have **Create and send broadcasts**;
- creating broadcasts is turned off for your account ([AVX-3871](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3871));
- there's no active plan ([AVX-3869](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3869));
- this month's broadcasts are used up ([AVX-3868](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3868));
- your Switchboard already has 10 broadcast drafts ([AVX-3894](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3894)).

See [Broadcast limits](https://docs.theavoxai.com/broadcasts/limits).
