# Meetings and calendars: Google, Microsoft, Zoom

> Connect Google, Microsoft 365, Zoom or Calendly to create meetings from WhatsApp, check free and busy times, block time and see bookings.

Connect your calendar or meeting app and Avox can create a meeting and share its link in a chat,
move or cancel it, check when you're free, block time, and see the bookings people make.

All four connect by signing in with the app. Avox renews the access on its own; you only sign in again
if the access is removed in the app.

## Google

One Google connection covers **Google Calendar**, **Google Meet** and **Google Sheets** (see
[Google Sheets](https://docs.theavoxai.com/connections/apps/crm-and-sheets#google-sheets)).

**1. Connect**

Open **Connections**, then **Apps**, then **Google**, click **Connect**, then **Continue to Google**.

**2. Allow the permissions**

Sign in with the Google account whose calendar you use, and leave every box ticked: create and
change calendar events, see free and busy times, and read and add rows in Google Sheets.

- **Meetings** are events in your main calendar with a Google Meet link; guests get Google's own
  invitation and updates.
- **Free and busy** reads your main calendar, up to 31 days at a time.
- **Block time** adds a busy event; **unblock** removes it.
- If you untick a permission, the rest keeps working and the app's page lists what's missing. Click
  **Reconnect** to allow it.

## Microsoft 365

**What you need:** a Microsoft account. Teams meeting links need a work or school account.

**1. Connect**

Open **Microsoft 365** under Apps, click **Connect**, then **Continue to Microsoft 365**.

**2. Allow the permissions**

Sign in and accept: sign in and read your profile, and see and change your Outlook calendar. Some
work accounts need an IT admin to approve apps first.

- **Meetings** are Outlook events with a Teams link (work or school accounts); attendees get
Outlook's invitation. Cancelling sends them Outlook's cancellation.
- **Free and busy** reads your Outlook calendar; events marked Free don't count.
- To fully remove Avox after disconnecting, open your account's app permissions
(myapps.microsoft.com for work accounts, account.live.com/consent/Manage for personal ones).

## Zoom

**1. Connect**

Open **Zoom** under Apps, click **Connect**, then **Continue to Zoom**, and allow Avox.

- **Meetings** are scheduled Zoom meetings with a waiting room; the join link goes in the chat.
- **Move** changes the time and length; **cancel** deletes the meeting and can email the invitees.
- If Avox is removed from your Zoom account, Zoom tells Avox and the app shows as disconnected.

## Calendly

**1. Connect**

Open **Calendly** under Apps, click **Connect**, then **Continue to Calendly**, and allow Avox.

- Avox reads your upcoming bookings (up to 50 at a time).
- On paid Calendly plans Avox turns on instant updates by itself, so new and cancelled bookings
reach Avox as they happen. The app's page shows whether they're on.
- Disconnecting removes Avox's webhook and its access at Calendly.

## Times and time zones

Every time a step sends includes its offset (for example `2026-11-02T15:00:00+05:30`), so meetings
land at the right moment wherever the business or the customer is. A step can also name a time zone
(like `Asia/Kolkata`) for how the event shows in the calendar.
