# Flows Library

> Browse every premade Flow Avox wrote, preview it on a phone, and start a Flow from it in one click.

The **Flows library** holds every premade Flow written by Avox, in one place: plain forms that work
at once, live answers Avox works out while the customer fills them in, and live Flows that read
and save your [Tables](https://docs.theavoxai.com/tables). Open it from **Flows library** at the top of the Flows page,
**See all** under **Start from a premade Flow**, or **Open the Flows library** in step 1 of the
wizard. Its address is `/flows/library`.

## Finding a Flow

| Part | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| **Search premade Flows** | Finds a Flow by its name, what it does, its category or its kind. |
| **Group chips** | **All**, **Plain forms**, **Live answers** and **Live with your tables**, each with how many match your search. The library shows each group under its own heading. |
| **Start from scratch** | Opens the wizard with a blank Flow instead. |
| **Clear filters** | Shown when nothing matches: goes back to every Flow. |

The search and the group you pick stay in the page address (`?q=` and `?group=`), so a filtered
library can be shared or reloaded.

Each card shows the Flow's name, what it does, its kind (**Plain form**, **Live answers** or **Your
tables**) and its category, with **Preview** and **Use this Flow** at the bottom.

## Preview

**Preview** opens the phone beside the list (on a phone it takes the list's place until you close
it). The panel shows what the Flow does, which tables it uses, and the Flow itself in a WhatsApp
phone: type into the fields, pick choices and tap the button to move through its screens. A live
Flow answers from your rows only once it's set up in the wizard; here you see its screens.
**Use this Flow** sits at the bottom of the panel. Escape or the X closes it.

## Use this Flow

**Use this Flow** starts a new draft from the premade, with its name, category and JSON filled
in, and opens the wizard on step 2 (**Name**). Change anything you like, then publish it as usual:
see [Creating a Flow](https://docs.theavoxai.com/flows#creating-a-flow). Every new draft counts toward the 10 drafts a
Switchboard can keep ([AVX-3043](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3043)); if the draft can't be made you see
[AVX-3045](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3045).

## Flows that use your tables

A Flow in **Live with your tables** needs tables made from Avox's premade tables (for example
**Time slots** and **Appointments** for appointment booking). The card and the preview say which
ones:

- When you already have one, the preview says so, and you pick it in the wizard.
- When you don't, the card says "Needs a table made from the premade ... table." **Create it**
opens Tables with that premade ready, or you can make it in the wizard in one click.
- If you can't make tables (you don't have the **Manage tables** permission), **Use this Flow** is
greyed out and says why ([AVX-3573](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3573)). **See the premade table** shows the
table someone else can make for you.

## When you can't use a Flow

**Use this Flow** is greyed out, and clicking it says why, when:

| Reason | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Creating Flows is switched off for your account ([AVX-3572](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3572)) | Contact [Support](https://docs.theavoxai.com/support). |
| You don't have the **Create and edit Flows** permission | Ask an Admin for access. See [Permissions](https://docs.theavoxai.com/switchboard/members#permissions). |
| Your plan doesn't include Flows yet | Choose a plan. See [Plans](https://docs.theavoxai.com/plans). |
| Every Flow slot on your plan is used ([AVX-3033](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3033)) | Free a slot from **Your Flows**, or move to a bigger plan. |
| It needs a table you can't make ([AVX-3573](https://docs.theavoxai.com/error-codes/avx-3573)) | Ask someone who can manage tables to make it first. |

You can still search, filter and preview every Flow.
