When a Switchboard's plan stops (it ended, was cancelled, expired, was paused or a payment is overdue), you can keep replying from the Inbox for 7 days. After that the Inbox is read-only: you can still read every conversation, search and open contacts, and new messages from customers keep arriving, but nobody can reply from Avox until the plan is renewed. A member of someone else's Switchboard follows that Switchboard owner's plan.
If you own this Switchboard, open Billing and choose a plan. Replies work again straight away.
If someone else owns it, ask them to renew their plan.
Until then you can still read conversations and reply from the WhatsApp Business app on your phone.
