Every page of Avox Settings at a glance - Profile, Security, Offers, Business, Switchboard, Usage, and API Keys - with links to the full guides.
Settings has seven pages. In the sidebar they're grouped under Account (Profile, Security, Offers) and Workspace (Business, Switchboard, Usage, API Keys). Every page can also be opened from the command palette by typing "Settings". Usage shows for members with the See billing or See analytics permission, and API Keys for members with See API keys.
Any member can leave. Click Leave Switchboard, then confirm. You lose access straight away and an Admin can invite you back later.
If you're the only Admin, you can't leave - a Switchboard always needs one. The dialog says so and offers two other ways out:
Or make someone else an Admin first (Switchboard > Members), then leave.
Many cards have a How this works button that opens the matching section below.
The top card shows your avatar, name, email, username, account ID, and when you joined. Your avatar is made from your name, so it changes when your name does. Edit your Full name (up to 120 characters) and click Save changes to keep it - you see "Profile updated". The tab also lists the policies you've agreed to, with the version and date. See Profile.
Changing your email sends a confirmation to both your current and your new address, and the change only happens once it's confirmed. You see "Check both your old and new inbox to confirm the change". Until then you keep signing in with your current address, and the card shows the change as waiting for confirmation, with the new address and when you asked. Asking both inboxes stops anyone with access to a signed-in browser from quietly moving your account to an address they control. Steps and messages: Changing your email address.
The Sign-in methods card lists every way you can sign in: Email and password (with a shortcut to change your password), Google, and Facebook. Connect Google or Facebook to sign in with it instead of a password. Each row shows Connected or Not connected. You can disconnect one only while you have another way to sign in - otherwise its button shows "Connect another sign-in method first". See Connected accounts.
Your registered business name and billing address - the same details checkout collects when you buy a plan, kept in sync both ways. The business name is also what template and Flow previews show. Any member can edit them, and the change applies to the Switchboard selected in the header. See Business.
The tab opens with three tiles: whether Two-factor is on, how many Passkeys you have, and how many Signed-in devices there are. Click a tile to jump to its card.
Changing your password takes three steps on the Password card:
The new password needs 8 to 72 characters, an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number, with no spaces at the start or end, and it can't be the password you already use. Changing it signs you out on every other device; the one you're using stays signed in. See Security.
Sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key instead of a password. Click Add a passkey to create one, and the bin icon to remove one. Add as many as you like. See Passkeys.
Adds a 6-digit code from an authenticator app after you sign in. Click Enable, scan the QR code, and enter the code to turn it on. Once it's on, every sign-in stops at a verification step until the code is entered. If you lose the phone with your authenticator app, contact hello@theavoxai.com from your account's email address. See Two-factor.
Every browser that has opened your dashboard, with its system, browser, IP address, approximate location, and when it was last active. Each other device has its own Sign out button; the row marked This device has Sign out everywhere, which signs you out here and on every other device. Under the list, Sign out of all other sessions signs out every device except the one you're using. See Sessions.
Your own recent security changes: password changes, two-factor turned on or off, and Switchboards you paused, resumed, deleted, or left, plus role and permission changes you made. If something here wasn't you, change your password and contact support. See Recent security events.
Click Delete my account to permanently delete your Avox sign-in and profile. You confirm by typing your account email, plus your current password if your account has one. An account that signs in only with Google or Facebook must have signed in within the last 15 minutes. If you're the only Admin of a Switchboard, you're asked to add another Admin, delete that Switchboard, or leave it first. See Deleting your account.
The tab labeled Switchboard in the dashboard has five views: General (an overview, name and logo, pause, delete), Workspaces (every Switchboard you belong to), Members, Invitations, and Activity (Admins only). Leaving is in the settings menu. See Switchboards.
Settings > Usage shows what the Switchboard you're viewing has used this period, against its plan:
"This period" runs from your plan's monthly renewal date (or the calendar month without a plan). You need the See billing or See analytics permission to open it. See Plans for each plan's limits.
Settings > Offers lists the gifts, perks and deals the Avox team has sent you: personal codes (Copy, Use at checkout), gifted plans (Accept gift), free credits and limit boosts (Claim credits, Claim boost), and perks (Request it), each with when it ends. Below them, Used and past offers keeps a record of the rest. While you have an offer open, a gift button in the dashboard header counts down to the one that ends first. With nothing to use, the page reads No offers right now. See Offers in your dashboard.
Got a coupon code some other way? Enter it at checkout under Have a coupon? - see Using a coupon code.
"Organization" is the same thing as the Switchboard tab above - your workspace, its team, and its settings. Everything is explained on Switchboards, with roles on Members and roles and invites on Invites.
The API Keys tab lists every outbound API key across every connection in this Switchboard, with Test (a safe check that sends nothing) and each key's recent requests. Admins (and members with Manage API keys) can create, rotate and revoke keys, each confirmed with a 6-digit code emailed to them. A new key is shown in full exactly once, and rotating keeps the key's name, description and limits. See API keys and Authentication.
