Every feature Avox adds around the WhatsApp Business Platform - the shared inbox, contacts, calls, templates, Flows, automation, billing, security and the API - in brief, with a link to each full page.
Avox is a dashboard and API built around Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. This page is the short
version of everything it does, grouped the same way as the docs sidebar. Each item links to its
full page. For the WhatsApp capabilities Avox is built on, see WhatsApp products.
The dashboard's home page and the places your team works with customers every day.
Overview - your dashboard's home page: stat cards (including Est. Meta
cost), recent activity, message and delivery charts, and an alert bar when something needs
attention.
Inbox - every conversation, visible to your whole team, with a composer that
follows WhatsApp's 24-hour messaging window. The chat header counts
down the time left to reply, and you can add tags and categories to the customer right there.
Contacts - every phone number that's messaged you, searchable, with links to
each contact's conversation and call history. Group customers with
tags and categories in any colour, and each contact gets a
generated avatar in their category's colour and shape.
Calls - your WhatsApp call history, with search and filters by direction, outcome,
length, tags, categories and date, and Request calling permission to ask a customer if you can
call them.
Analytics - message volume, delivery, and response time over longer periods.
Included on the Growth and Business plans.
Search - search the dashboard from the header, or press Ctrl + K
(Cmd + K on a Mac), to jump to any page or setting, run an action, or find
an answer.
Everything about the WhatsApp numbers you connect, and how your own systems reach them.
Connections - connect WhatsApp numbers with a wizard of three or four steps,
then rename, pause, resume, and delete them. Each number can also have a wa.me/<username> link
and an Identity-Key Check switch. Setup is covered step by step on Setup.
Coexistence sync - keep using the WhatsApp Business App on the
same number while Avox runs alongside it, with your chat history and contacts brought in.
Calling - turn on WhatsApp Calling for a connected number.
Message forwarding - send customers' incoming messages to
your own server as they arrive, signed with a signing secret you can rotate, with automatic
retries, a Send test event button, a delivery log where you can Resend a message, and an
automatic pause (with an email to Admins) if your endpoint keeps failing.
API keys - keys for the Avox API, each scoped to one
connection, with a name, an optional description and who created it. Create a live key
(avx_live_) that sends real messages, or a test key (avx_test_) that never sends anything.
Rotate a key without losing its limits and choose how long the old one keeps working, Test
it without sending, revoke it, and see its recent requests. Creating, rotating and revoking are
confirmed with an emailed code. Avox flags a key that's used from a new place or behaves unusually.
API logs - every request made with your API keys on the
Sent tab, and every message forwarded to your server on the Received tab, with filters,
a details panel for each row, and Export CSV.
Health and Logs - each connection's heartbeat, a live check
straight from Meta, quality history and delivery rate, and every webhook Meta has sent your
account.
Build WhatsApp message templates in a step-by-step wizard with a live phone preview, submit them to
Meta, and follow their review status - see Templates.
Create - Custom message, Catalogue, Calling permission request, and
One-time passcode templates, with every Meta button type.
Library - start from Avox's own ready-made templates, or from Meta's
pre-verified templates with no review wait.
Approval - statuses, rejection reasons, editing, and status emails.
Insights - sent, delivered, read, and clicked numbers from Meta.
Flows - forms that open inside WhatsApp. Start from a premade Flow or write the
JSON yourself with a live preview, validate it with Meta, and publish in one click. Flows that
need live data get a guided endpoint setup.
Automation - automated replies that run on their own. Pick a
trigger, lay out actions on the visual
builder, branch with conditions, and start from premade automations.
Sends spend credits.
Switchboards - your workspace. Run several, each with its own numbers,
templates, and team, and switch between them from the Switchboard switcher. An Admin can
pause a Switchboard to stop everything while keeping all its
data, and resume it any time.
Members and roles - what Admins and Managers can each do. Admins
change a member's role from the Role picker (Make Admin or Change to Manager), give a
Manager extra permissions or take some away, and remove
members. Admins and Managers alike can Leave Switchboard from Settings >
Switchboard, and a Switchboard always keeps at least one Admin.
Plans - every plan, feature, and limit, with live prices.
Billing - your subscription, payments, and usage. Pay Monthly, Yearly, or
One-time. India accounts see amounts in rupees first, with the US dollar amount charged beside
them.
Meta charges and payment status - what Meta
charges for your messages, day by day (synced with Meta, or a live estimate), a reconciliation
you can download, each number's Meta payment status with Check again, and View Meta
invoices. See also Pricing.
Support - Support & Feedback in the dashboard: search the FAQ or open a
support ticket.
Notifications - the bell in the dashboard header collects notices from the Avox team and
anything that needs your attention, with Mark all read.
Error codes - every AVX code, what it means, and what to try.
Status page and Reliability - live service status with
90 days of history and every incident, including a Meta / WhatsApp
section for the services Meta runs, and how Avox keeps messages delivered and in order.
