The Avox Avatar is the character you see reacting throughout your Avox dashboard - in page headers, during onboarding, in the account menu, and on the Avox websites. It's generated for you, takes its shape from the persona you pick when you join, and changes expression based on what's happening on screen. It's the face of Avox AI.
Hover any of these. This is the real avatar, showing its real expressions.
Idle
Resting state, nothing else applies. The default everywhere.
Happy
Something is going well.
Unsure
A validation error, or details that turned out to be wrong.
Wink
A brief, one-off reaction to advancing, like completing a step.
Thinking
A network request is in flight.
Scared
A genuinely high-stakes moment, like OTP verification or a final payment.
Sleepy
Nothing has happened in a while.
Mad
A destructive action, like logging out.
Sad
A genuinely bad outcome, like a failed payment - nobody's fault.
Surprised
An unexpectedly good, faster-than-expected result.
Smug
Quiet confidence - everything's already configured correctly.
Love
A strong positive moment, worth more than routine Happy. Used sparingly.
Shy
Asking for something a little sensitive, like billing details.
Sick
An ongoing unhealthy state, not a one-off failure, like a connection that's been unreachable for a while.
The avatar's shape is set by the persona you pick during onboarding:
Its look is also seeded from your name, so the same person always gets the same-looking avatar. Switchboards without a logo get their own avatar too, seeded from the Switchboard's name.
The avatar isn't a chat assistant you talk to. It's a friendly face on real dashboard state, showing at a glance whether things are going well.
